Bharatanatyam
Trained in the Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam by Mrinalini Sarabhai, Kitappa Pillai and the gurus at Darpana, Mallika has amazed audiences across the world with the vigour and strength of her nritta, and the depth of her abhinaya. She brings to the stage some rare traditional items and new pieces she herself has written to mirror the current world as she sees it.

Kuchipudi
Mallika follows the Kuchipudi style of her illustrious guru C R Acharyelu, a style that is lively and swift. She brings to the stage the verve, fun and joy that makes this style so different from Bharatanatyam. She presents rare items including the foot paintings practised in temple processions.

IN SEARCH OF THE GODDESS
In Hinduism the first being is Ardhanarishwara, half female, half male. In this show Mallika explores the concept of Shakti, the female being, through dance, story telling, theatre and mime, through her own writing and that of Suniti Namjoshi.
