“When I was a child and wanted to learn classical dance, no one knew where to send me, or to whom. It took me years to find the great gurus, and I had to live in awful conditions to have access to them. It is then that I decided that I would build an institution where everyone who wanted to learn could have access to the great gurus.”

- MRINALINI SARABHAI
